Homemade Sports Drink-better than ______ade

I noticed that my blood pressure was hovering around 100/70 lately. Since I workout and eat a low-sodium diet, I wasn't too worried, but I started making my own sports drink to replenish what I was losing during my workouts. My bp is back up now, so I thought I'd share my recipe with you here.

Sports Drink
2/3 cup of sugar
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1/2 teaspoon lite salt (potassium/salt mixture)
1 package of drink mix (kool-aid works great. you can make it without this, but it tastes awful)
2 liters of water

melt the sugar and salt mixture with a little hot water to dissolve it, then add the rest of the water-to 2 liters-and chill.

Benefits
lacks the high fructose corn syrup.
lacks the citric acid-that eats away at your teeth
you get to control what's in it

How I use it
I drink about 8 oz a day (after my workout if I workout that day)
I also drink about 8 oz of milk after my workout so my body has protein to rebuild my muscles.
