Meet Your Training Goals Faster with This Step

If you are like 95% of people, looking better is one of your goals.

Maybe your goal is to lift more, run further, etc.

Here is one step to reaching your goal faster.

Write out your goal on an index card as if you've already reached it. Rehearse it for one minute each day. And rehearse it again before your training sessions. And imagine how it feels for that to be true.

example: I do 15 dead hang pull-ups 3 times as part of my training warm-up.

If this sounds like positive thinking mumbo-jumbo, it should because it is. You won't reach your goal in one try, but each time the positive thinking helps you go a little bit further and reach your goal a little bit faster.

Many of us think of failures before trying something rather than thinking of success. And thinking of success is proven to increase success.

So instead of thinking of all the reasons that losing weight is really hard for you or of your failures in the past, imagine how it will feel to be successful in the future. Then make it happen.

What is your goal right now?
