Simple Fat-Burning Workout

Dan John describes on his blog a simple workout he recommends for people wanting to lose fat. He says that simple is best when you're trying to lose fat because it keeps you from having to think about so much stuff when you're also trying to rein in your diet. Check out his post here.

He says
  • Push-ups (or planks)
  • Kettlebells/Dumbbell Swings (or Goat Bag Swings/Goblet Squats)
  • Farmer Walks
Swings are an amazing exercise that you should do no matter your fitness level. Take away from this that fat loss workouts don't have to be long (think hours on the treadmill) or complicated. Just pick some basic workouts, eat good food, and get rest.
