Have Fun this Holiday Season

Everyone is stressing out over weight gain and diet this Christmas season. Instead of worrying about or giving in to the weight gain, do something new to get the most from your holiday season.

Ideas:

  • Learn a new fitness approach--go to the library and checkout a fitness DVD or take a class if your gym offers one. Use the month to do something interesting instead of slogging through or giving up. 
  • Pick a small goal and train to reach that goal--Do 10 more push-ups or 10 more lunges.
  • Pick a quick, brutal workout and do that three times a week--try Run the Mountain or a Tabata series of workouts.

Benefits:
  • Your body will be better able to handle any extra food and drink.
  • You won't have as much work to do in the new year to reach your goals.

The year isn't over, so don't waste December.
